A message from Susan
After much consideration, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw my name from the Progressive Conservative nomination race for the Steinbach constituency.

This is not a decision I make lightly, however, unexpected health challenges within my family now require my time and availability close to home.
​
While I am disappointed to step back from this race, I am confident that this is the right decision, made easier by knowing that Michael Zwaagstra will likely be the new MLA for our area. Throughout this process we have remained good friends and I know he will do an excellent job for the Steinbach Constituency.

I remain committed to serving our community on city council and in other meaningful ways.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported and encouraged me throughout this process. It has meant more than you know.
To support my nomination:
The Progressive Conservative nomination will be decided by local party members in the Steinbach constituency. Purchasing a PC membership allows you to vote for me in the nomination. You don’t need to be deeply involved in party politics. A membership simply gives you a voice in this important decision. Whoever wins the nomination will represent the PC Party in the next provincial election.
